This ferro silicon standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking and quality certificate of ferro silicon.
This standard is applicable to ferrosilicon used in steel making and casting as deoxidizing or alloying agent and magnesium metal industries.
The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this Standard by reference to this Standard. All subsequent amendments (excluding corrigendum) or revisions to dated citations are not applicable to this Standard.
