This ferro silicon standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking and quality certificate of ferro silicon.
This standard is applicable to ferrosilicon used in steel making and casting as deoxidizing or alloying agent and magnesium metal industries.
